Housing Assistance Guidelines - Recipient must be NAHASDA eligible, ie. low income tribal member (80% MFI)
- Recipient may not be delinquent or past dueon any payments or obligations to AHFC, PIA or THRHA
- The property receiving assistance must be owned and occupied by the tribal member recipient
- Receipient must complete and submit a NAHASDA application
- Repairs are limited to health, safety, weatherization or energy efficiency improvements
- Repairs greater than $2,500 require 3 bids
- All work must be completed by a licensed contractor
- Loan funds will be paid directly to the contractor or materials vendor
- Maximum loan assistance is $3,500, 0% interest rate and $100/mo repayment
- If recipient defaults on a loan they are not eligible for any future assistance
