Why Enroll?
Enrollment provides proof of Alaska Native blood to Alaska Natives that can show direct lineal descent from an original enrolee listed on the Alaska Native Claims Settlements Act (ANCSA).
Being an enrolled Tribal Member identifies your eligibility for Tribal Programs. This includes Indian Health Services, Educational programs, Financial assistance, Family Services, and more.
Being enrolled with PIA
Being enrolled with PIA means you may qualify for special programs run within Petersburg. Programs include social services, general assistance, scholarship and trade school financial help, JOM programs, and more!
How to Enroll
To enroll with PIA, you must provide a copy of your Certificate of Indian Blood or your Tlingit & Haida card.
